I’ve always loved baking. Always. Cooking is a separate matter, but let’s just say being married has warmed me up to the art of it all.
My mother was (still is) a great baker. She taught me and my sister about baking at an early age. She made everything from scratch, and for that I am thankful. I always took this knowledge for granted until I went to college, and my girlfriends only knew how to make cookies and cakes from a box.
Now that I live in South Korea, I enjoy baking and cooking 100x more. It’s a challenge for me to find ingredients sometimes, and when I do, I can make the most delicious things! Making things that are familiar to my life back in the States makes me feel closer to home.
I’ve decided to make a page dedicated to my love for food-whether it’s baking, cooking, or drink mixing!
